The Terry Fox Theatre and our managing arm, Port Coquitlam Theatre Society, exists to inspire, educate and entertain students, families and residents of the Tri-Cities and the Greater Vancouver area, and to celebrate the cultural diversity of the people who live here. We welcome everyone to experience the magic of community theatre!
Theatre Experience
Terry Fox Theatre comfortably accommodates a variety of live performances, presentations and cultural events. Our theatre features a spacious soft seat house with exceptional acoustics and sightlines from all 336 seats, plus sprung stage floor, computerized lighting, extensive sound equipment, LCD projection equipment, wheelchair accessibility, and professional support staff. A state-of-the-art theatre meets community charm at Terry Fox Theatre.

Theatre Rentals
Our venue is primarily a rental facility ideal for touring professional artists, musical concerts, recitals, festivals, conferences, lectures, multimedia presentations, community arts groups, local theatre companies, dance troupes and school productions. We offer presenters of all sizes and genres the right space to showcase performances in a professionally equipped, affordable, comfortable playhouse.
Theatre Location
We are located 3 minutes north of Lougheed Highway and offer ample off-street parking. Our theatre is physically anchored to the northeast corner of Terry Fox Secondary School. Terry Fox Theatre operates as an independent, professional facility managed by the registered federal charity, Port Coquitlam Theatre Society.
We are the largest theatre venue in the north-east Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), including Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra -- collectively known as the Tri-Cities.

Initially trained in business, Terry Fox Theatre Manager Gayle Manktelow began
her professional life working for the provincial government doing environmental
assessments. Then one fateful night, Gayle watched a production of Arsenic & Lace
that truly ignited her passion and long time love for the theatre. There was no turning
back. Gayle’s career portfolio includes producing for companies
such as Theatre Terrific, Sunshine Theatre, Arts Club Theatre and Victoria Fringe
Festival.
