Tri-Cities' community theatre is defined by volunteers like you. Port Coquitlam Theatre Society is made up of a volunteer board of directors, and many of our front of house positions are filled by volunteers too! We are proud to have people on our team from all walks of life, who have one thing in common: a passion for enhancing local performing arts.

Current Opportunities

Terry Fox Theatre has fun events happening year-round. We ask that volunteers commit to shifts of 3-6 hours. The busiest months for theatre are December, May and June when volunteers are dearly needed.Your generous donations of time and energy truly make a difference to our performing arts community!

Front of House Ushers

As the first and last point of contact for patrons and guests of the theatre, Ushers have a friendly, outgoing and approachable manor. In this role, you assist the front of house manager by opening and closing the theatre, collecting tickets and seating patrons. Ushers for Terry Fox Theatre enjoy helping us promote local theatre in this high-energy role.

Concession Attendants

What would a theatre experience be like without a cold drink and some delicious treats? As a concession attendant for Terry Fox Theatre, you'll sell snacks and refreshments to our patrons before the show and during intermission. Concession attendants manage a fast-paced environment, multi-task cash sales, accurately control inventory and share in guests' enthusiasm for events.
